Wow you've made loads of progress since I last looked at your thread! I love the look of the car now! :)
I used to to have those coilovers on my old 1.6. They're a bit crashy but for the money the can make the car look so much better! Don't see why you'd have a problem with those camber shims...
Haha (don't forget the thumbs up;))
Oh yeah sorry mate, I must've missed that. I just wanted to be sure it wasn't toooo orange with the sidelights on lol. Fancy doing the interior like yours and like how the 172 cups came as standard :)
Is that a 3/4 plate? :D when I put my Turini's back on we will literally have the same car. We have all the same mods apart from the Trophy spoiler and a few little things.
Also, do you have a photo of your dial surround with the sidelights on? I fancy a change... ;)
Looking good mate! :)
With the paint pot, did you have to lacquer it or anything and is it obviously noticeable where you've painted it?
I've got a few stone chips I want to touch up that's all.
Managed to get an adjustable C-spanner so that might be happening soon, thanks! :)
Yeah it depends what route you want to go down really :) yeah sort out all the little bits first :)
Thanks mate! :)
Do you mean because the bonnet might twist and damage the drivers side arch?
Maybe I'll...
Thanks mate, maybe I should start selling them ;)
I think it'd work a lot better if the anchoring point was a bit closer to the edge of the bonnet but I couldn't find a suitable place.
Yeah I'll have to drop the front about 20mm to match the rear I think.
Cheers mate :) I usually have white winter wheels so I'm used to the colour now :p I still fancy getting the Rota's painted though.
Thank you :) hmm never really thought of that tbh! Probably match a bit better if the...
I guess it would be fairly straight forward seeing as it's a flat surface. Tbh it's not the placement I'm too worried about, it's the cutting out. I want like to be a bit rounded at the bottom so I might have to take it somewhere! I'll probably do the front though. Was it a bumper off job to get...
Yeah I think I first saw it done on a white 172 in a different country when I first joined up lol.
Thats really good. I'd probably do the front bumper on my own but I'm not sure how I'd go about doing the back bumper. It seems really hard to cut the film symmetrical and place it on perfectly :/
Thanks mate, I'm still not sure about the colour tbh! A lot of people have said keep them white but I fancy a light anthracite colour.
I've had a fabia splitter before. They're great for the price but fancy something like Cupman's track car splitter. (Not as big though).
Cheers dude! Don't...
Thanks mate :)
Yeah they're a strange style of wheel tbh, everyone who's seen them either loves them or hates them. There doesn't seem to be an in between haha.
Thanks guys. Both pretty much said the same :p
I want to drop the front a little but not have it slammed like my old 1.6!
I...
Cheers mate, they're not everyone's cup of tea but glad some people like it :)
I know mate! Maybe next year ;)
Haha. If the first two posts were about the mudflaps, I figured there's bound to be more :p
Thanks very much dude! :)
Haha BeacauseRaceCar ;)
I was thinking about lowering the...
Thanks dude! :)
Yeah I was undecided about coming, wish I had now tbh after seeing loads of photos but I spent the day helping my mate move house instead.
Aww come on. I wrote at the top the mudflaps have gone! :p Lmao, that excuse lasted a while!
Yes I do need a new splitter! ;)
Thanks mate, I need to change the mudflap text. It's obviously not clear enough ;)
