I've had these photos on my phone for ages now but I've only just got around to sorting them out.
I'd recently cleaned the car and managed to finish work early so I thought I'd go out and try to get some nice photos while the sun was still out.
Please note, I've removed the mudflaps since the...
No worries matey. If you got the wheels lathed professionally then it'd be fine. It's not something I'd want to be doing myself as they've got to be perfect!
I've got to agree with Tom though, you will get in trouble if you leave them sticking out that far :/
Hi mate, I've just had a look through your project thread with regards to the Rota's.
These wheels are a real pain to fit!
The lad I bought my Rota Grid Drift's from had already had them lathed. I couldn't tell you how much by or anything though :/
Luckily my front wheels fitted fine...
True! I guess the only thing to do is try it. I bought a sports cat when I first got the car to get it through it's MOT but have never actually put it on.
I have the pops and bangs map on my car at the moment but it's no where near as loud as that video!
It usually does a few little pops but very rarely makes a loud bang unless I let off from 4.5K in 2nd gear.
Thinking of putting the 98RON map back on and fitting a sports cat instead of the...
I quite like the silver carbon. Brightens up the interior a bit compared to the normal black carbon.
Have a look through my project thread - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?613699-Danman-s-Mk2-1-6
It was the same colour as your car so you might find a few ideas you like. I won't...
You'll be fine without the clips mate. When I bought a cup spoiler it had several pink clips bonded on. I snapped them off as it fitted better without them lol.
I think they're just there to help line up the screw holes.
Looks good mate!
You could do with one of these next ;)
You position the plate in the normal place and cut a slit out of the top of the lower grill so it folds away there instead of at the bottom for a more oem look.
Some people have had their wheels lathed to avoid catching the callipers.
The wheels I bought had already had this done but they still caught the rear callipers due to the design of the wheel.
I'm not sure about the Grid V's but with the Grid Drifts I still had to take a few mm's off the edge...
If the little black tabs on the front bumper are missing, it's had a respray.
Most at likely due to stone chips but double check for any damage behind it if you can.
No way! :/ I'm gutted for you mate.
At least you're okay, that's the main thing!
I can't believe how quickly you've brushed it off your shoulder to go out on another track day haha!
I guess the owners not on here, he's been spotted before -

Trophy driving past Sutton McDonald's this afternoon. Reg ended in CCO.
Silver 172 with tinted windows near spot on snooker. Reg ended in ZRE I think.
Not seen either around here before, anyone on here?
That carbon wrap looks 100x more realistic than the the stuff I used on my old 1.6. Good job mate :)
I especially like the stickers on the back of the bucket seats, like you say, they brighten up the interior a bit :)
