Patience is wearing thin with this now lol. Tried to start the car yesterday, immobiliser light off all looks good. On turn on the key to start the immobiliser light starts flashing, then when stopped it goes out. No crank of the engine at all. I'm still convinced that coolant may have got in...
Mines runs from battery to a mega fuse then to the kill switch then to a junction box in the engine bay. It's also wired in to the ignition to kill that when switched.
I'll never understand Renault electrics lol.
Will yours start with the battery and stop light? I can't try as I have my fuel lines off, just hope it does and it's not the loom :(.
Not much of an update but added the couple painted bits and new coolant bottle, looking fresher!

Also ordered a 180 degree bend and joiner last week to loop the coolant pipes now I've removed the heater, turned out ok.

Still...
It's the plug that sits above the bellhousing and the block where the flywheel is. It's 2x 10mm bolts to remove, worth taking it out and cleaning up with some brake cleaner as the sensor can get covered in sh*t.
I love mine but if my car was still on the road I probably wouldn't get them. I always got water leaking in when it rained which was annoying and as others say there not secure.
Mines is off the road and garaged now so not an issue.

I think I've dodged a bullet on the coil side anyway. Plugged the coil pack, throttle body and fuel rail back up and the lights are now good bar the battery and solid red which I got from time to time before with my battery.
With the loom still in a good position I've had no more bother with...
Hopefully that's the case, inlets are getting painted so I'll try just plugging the bits back up first.

It's definitely a risky job lol if this does work though it would be easy to put a guide up on what's removable.
