You'd need to spend literally thousands on the engine as other people have been there and done that. Then you would only be fastest in a staight line. To be fastest around a track you'd need good coilovers, set up properly, and to be a better driver than Fred.
yes, its how i got it off mine. let the polish u have on there dry properly, i left it 24hours, and then jsut a very small amount and then rub it hard, and wipe clean
they say 172 because they are normally engines sourced from a 172. The engines are basically the same so makes very little difference and both as tuneable as the other, and obviously these cars arent likely to have standard engines ;)

Abbot this is your first car right? I presume you have just passed your test or maybe still on a provisional. Leave the car standard and enjoy it for what it is. Insurance will be bad enough without having to declare mods
