    Nope ECU uses the first lambda sensor (pre-cat) for fuelling The only use for the second lambda is to check the emissions are lower than the first - so it knows the cat is working It's purely to put the light on the dash :)

    Ahhh bloody hell yeah YEARS ago It was a 106 quicksilver - only a 1.4 lol I'm still really good mates with Rick who ran CruiseLincs - and my cars being mapped by Phill - you might remember he had a 306 sprint car and his girlfriend Kat had a 106 rallye (still does actually) lol

    Sounds dodgy The cars put very very little braking force to the rear - mine passed but if I jack it up and put my foot on the brake you can still turn the rear wheels LOL As said the bias valve could be blocked - the pistons could be seized, sliders could be seized - could be loads of things...

    Stu is the f**king daddy!! You should see his full build thread for his 106 - it makes me stiff Max - step the feck away - even your drawing shows you'll end up with the exact same location for the tank - there's ZERO benefit Just fit a decent swirl pot setup if you really want one

    I have DS2500's and High Carbon discs on mine - the braking is "good" but after 4 hours on track it cooks the fluid I had brembo's on the 106 and the braking was fantastic - and a whole day on track had no overheating issues at all I'll be getting 4-pots next year for the clio :)

    You are however ENTIRELY wrong My 106 gti was only mildly modified and I was a very amateur driver - but fitting brembo's too it I noticed a huge difference. The brakes didn't overheat after 20 laps like they did before, they were more progressive so I could apply more braking without locking...
