Same problems I'm having except I've got no warning light. Get Lewis's RSTuner on it, cheap code readers are crap for 172's

Mines started doing a similar thing, changed CPS and still it doesn't start sometimes. 5 minutes later its fine. Not an immobiliser issue either?!

Funny story actually. Missus had one on her 172 and was pulled because the copper wanted to tell her off about her factory fitted xenons because they were apparently illegal. He then told her her exhaust was too loud and illegal. He failed to see the only illegal thing which was the plate!

I own both now and drive both on a daily basis so have direct comparison and they are even. Book figures don't mean anything! The problem with going from one car to another that is so similar is you'll usually see the new one through rose tinted glasses.

On a track the Clio would run circles around a Corsa VXR, but straight line the Corsa is all about power.
