Ive just replaced the entire seat base with a new one myself. I think Ill send off the old worn one to get the side bolsters retrimmed in leather and see what it comes back like. In the mean time ill just keep hassling my passengers to jump over the seat when getting in :o

Think i I might go down the same route and get the edges on mine retrimmed in leather. Anyone know how much the seat base sells for on its own usually?

Yeah i suppose It was like his daily toy car. He is part of a race team which ran the megane trophy for a while which Im sure had some influence on him buying the 265...

The wheels are a bit mental looking. I think if the car was a different colour I'd prefer the 18inch wheel design. Have to sort out somewhere to get the recaro bolster repaired soon. Has anyone got theirs retrimmed in leather?

Would anyone know where i can find the engine number on a Megane 265? Had a quick look the other day but couldn't see anything obvious. Im guessing its under a plastic coweling or something?

Hey Steven. Welcome to the club. I presume you saw the 182 cup thats for sale on Done Deal? Pretty much the only one in Ireland for sale as far as i can see although there was a lovely trophy for sale about a month ago in Waterford.

Re: Advise of selling LY 182? Looks like a really nice motor. Id certainly part with 3.5K if LY was my thing Id agree with this. Wouldnt have that pic in my advert. Are those stickers on the passenger side there the whole time?
