Well, I would go to a Renault Specialist. Engine - £300 (half decent mileage, second hand) Cambelt etc. - £250 fitted Clutch - £150 fitted Labour to remove and replace engine - £400 So I'd say just over a grand. But definitely Renault Specialist due to Cambelt.

If mine drops it seems to stay dropped until I reset the mobile data. I was hoping it was fine after the update mentioned something about it fixing a similar issue, no luck though. May take it to apple and see. What network are you on? I'm on Orange/EE

I don't want it back, 3 supercharged Clios is enough for now. Saying that, I'd love it back and a forth but deposit for house is needed :(
