Glad your enjoying it mate. I love mine too, had it almost 4 months. Love it even more than the ph1 172 I had previously. I love how its as happy being thrashed around as it is sitting on the motorway relatively comfortably. Such a good all rounder for a low price. What's not to like.

I'd love to see how the person (term used lightly) who did that thought it was an improvement. Like seriously, they actually paid money to have that done. Even more laughable is somebody is now trying to sell it. I'd rather have a standard 1.2 Expression than that abomination.

I'd like a 6th gear in my 182. It would be awesome with the 200's ratio's. Well maybe a slightly longer top gear for motorway stuff.

Good choice. Wish I'd have gone for a dci instead of my 1.2. They're pretty nippy even standard. Especially once rolling and up into 3rd.

Looks in amazing condition Mike. Its nice to see one clean and properly looked after, most 3 series you see are just covered in 25,000 miles of dirt and generally not looked after. That's normally the 4 cylinder models mind, middle management company cars.

Pretty much the same yeah. My 182 sits about 400rpm higher on the motorway than my ph1 did. Enough for it to be noticeable anyway.

+1 I don't see the problem with a slightly smaller front plate. As long as it can be read from a reasonable distance I don't see the problem anyway.
