I agree with the masses.
Ph2 spoiler, rear lights, 18's & grills are a must for the V6...
Options mods but also worth it, KW's, Recaro's, IK and Exhaust.
One step at a time though.
Like i said, i have no idea what your battering on about...The angle of your arguement changes every two minutes, i can't keep up!.
The K20A is relatively hard to tune. 240bhp seems about right with Kpro, manifolds, exhaust and Gruppe M etc. thats a 20ish Bhp gain for 3k+ The Clio with similar...
PMSL at a Type R Clio! Piss right off!!!
And 5k to get 500bhp -How? 5k will get you around 350bhp on a K20A? Not sure if you were talking about another motor given that your punctuation is worse than mine!
Oh and this is the V6 (2up) vs a "Lighter, stronger box, 9000rpm on tap. All sounds...
We could gas all day about power to weight and performance. The simple fact is, and it was lost on page 1 is the Clio V6 does not have 400-500Bhp. Very few people have modified them due to the sheer cost, and before you comment on that, the people that have are technically very smart.
Like...
Not sure i follow. But i'll let it fly.
"The what if's" as per your previous post are made by people who have some common sense. I think 500bhp in a v6 is a ridiculous idea. Would i want 500bhp in a clio. No. Would i want 300? - Yes. That's a realistic figure. I beleive i'm in a decent position...
What a moronic statement. Other than a GTR I can't think of many 'common' V6's with over 500Bhp...So on your basis, nobody is entitled a view on the matter?!
Point is, the lad had put a motor in the back of a Nova, it's a demonstration of engineering ability. It doesn't make him any more or...
Me either. It goes to get the cage and harnesses fitted early Jan. Same boy that restored the old boys Elan is doing it. I'm confident in his ability.
Technically it's due a belt change this year, June i think, but i'm going to leave it till winter next year and ship it down south to SG...
Ok, I’ll concede, if you have the technical ability than anything is possible.
At the end of the day modifying is a mugs game when the gains are not tangible. We all recognise this, hence why very little people even bother trying to tune the V6.
If the car was originally Turbo Charged then...
Listen.
No one really cares about your Nova; your point was made some 5 pages ago.
Powerful motor, small car - Well done you've engineered something that is utterly useless on the road and is nothing more than a demonstration of your ability as a mechanic. High five.
In the real world where...
In the past this thread would of got my hackles up...However, i've now learned to ignore any and all opinion from Cliosport.
The V6 is car that gets under your skin first and foremost; i've had mine since 2007 and have no intention of selling.
The V6 doesn't do anything particularly well for...
