There is a tool you can use if you have cydia. I can't remember what it's called, i think its something like backgrounder. It basically allows you to run apps in the background and swap between them

Ive had this problem, only started since I updated to 3.1.2 It works when connecting to a wireless network like my home one, but not when im out and about and have a full 3G signal

Im with O2, and ive had no problems. Went from download speeds of 250kb/s up to around 2mb/s. Also pretty cheap if you already have a phone contract with them :P
