lol quite, even with the Xbox I stopped at the Elite 120GB.

I don't think I'll ever buy the PS4, the PS3-fail has seriously p*ssed me off.

Agreed, 90% of the time it's like Windows 7, but then you get the benefit of the apps etc with Windows 8. It also boots much quicker.

I tried SmartGlass this morning, its a great feature, but for me was quite laggy.

I think this is the issue tbh, I've never really got on with it myself (it does the job but isn't a joy to use and feels clunky), I suspect it works a whole lot better on OS X.

It wouldn't see the domain even though it was all configured correctly to see it, it seems to be fine now however (thanks) I have to say I'm very impressed with it, definitely quicker than 7.

I like it actually, it seems you can pretty much set it up as Windows 7, but you get the benefit of the apps and it has better multi-display support (FINALLY!) Having some domain issues though.

My steam folder is 590GB, so only on conventional drives for the time being atleast.

I'm downloading it now to have another look at it on a VM but I'm not sure I want to rebuild my main PC with it yet.

I'd download Avast on another machine and trying running that on it.
