SSD and conventional HDDs are both SATA, it makes no difference to have an SSD alongside a HDD.
SSDs have come down a lot in price and there are pretty much daily deals on hotukdeals for them. My advice would be to get a 60GB or if possible 120GB for the OS, then get a convential 1TB for all...
I've recently discovered Scan sell the majority of their stuff on eBay with free delivery as well (I get free delivery through the store but only when spending circa £100), so it helps with the smaller items.
I'd expect network and sound card to be on the motherboard, so you don't need to budget for those.

Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
I'm thinking of cancelling my outright order and going back to 02 on the £26 a month deal (64GB is £400). If my maths is right it's £36 cheaper than my Tesco deal and I won't have so much hassle with the SIM and will get visual voicemail back...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Yes, my last one was a 2007 (late) R26, no issues with build quality as such, but plenty of dealership and aftersales issues.
