Ok chaps a quick question. Tried getting the swirls out of my 1 series using a pc polisher (da) and orange lake pad. First I used af restore 1. Harsh cutting then I used mazina final finish for a light cut. After hours of work I looked alot better but not spot on. Was the da just not man...

I'd have kept mine stock. Just new shocks and maybe cooksports. A set of recaros would be nice too. The best mods for these is just keeping up to date with the servicing.

Gutted to read your still having problems. Just ditch all the itb cack, pop in a decent stock engine and drive the thing. IMO the stock engine is great and these cars are for the driving not making faster.

@ADS1982 Tbh it didn't make a huge ammount of difference. I think my old ones where ok. It does start a bit quicker and ive gained a few mpg.

depends how friendly they are. A drink would usually do it. I doubt it would be more than 40 quid
