What have you done to your car today ???

Finally got round to straightening my exhaust tips, they were sitting too far right and occasionally rattling the bumper. Not 100% straight but best I could get them and much happier with how they now look. Also treated myself to some autosol and gave them a shine while I was at it, came out well! Never remembered to take any before pics but they were miles out. Now have abnormally shiny exhaust tips in comparison with rest of the car

Hey Guys,
back in the Clio fold, bought myself another 172. :) Decided it was the best car for weekend fun. Picked up a 2003, 50k miler this morning. Already given the interior a little clean although it's pretty mint already. Will get more pictures up over the week.

Have a feeling if I fit them myself I'll c**k it up for sure though :/

@Joew182 let me know how these go and how bright they are and if possible pictures.
Been toying with the idea of doing my fog light bulbs for ages in LED.

The other day I changed the plugs in mine. Previously some guy had fitted Bosch Super 4s, because of course ECP lists them. It is now on NGK Platinum plugs as intended. As you can expect, the Super 4s had seen better days.

Removed the original ugly and bulky gear knob, opened a thread to the gear stick and now I have a nice quaife nylon one in place.
A how to will soon follow since it took me and a friend less than 45 minutes without removing the gear stick and without giving any pain to the gear linkage.

Sounds good! Be sure to do that foo.

Tag me in the how to so I don't miss it. [emoji5] [emoji106]

Just mapped my 182 with the RS Tuner box. Runs far better now, looking forward to some proper blasts over the next few days. (Up for sale if anyone is interested - see for sale section).

just gave mine a device with genuine oil filter and castrol edge 5/40 and also fitted genuine new rear badges..which cost me just shy of £60 but freshens it up a treat;-)

Driven back from Manchester. I just love driving this bloody car. I can honestly say with it coming up to a year of ownership that it brings such a smile to my face whenever I drive it, whether it's a two min journey or longer! I never say that about a car when it's coming up to a year, I'm always itching to sell but not a chance with this. So good :D

After getting locked out my car this morning and finding out my key doesn't match the door lock, I soldered the micro switch back in my key fob.

Today I have mainly sworn at all three cars and threatened to burn them, especially after spending money to put the 182 through the MOT for the handbrake cable to snap during the test. I did change the wipers and sidelights myself though :unamused:

Fixed my haunted passenger door lock that randomly decided when it wanted to lock or unlock, turned out to be a loose connector so I jammed some card in to keep it in place and so far it's working.

Although whoever decided how the door cards should be attached need shooting, poppers yeah no problem all cars have those, 4 screws at the bottom and a screw holding on each of the interior handles again no problem, but after undoing all of those it still wouldn't budge because, yeah brilliant lets glue the f*cker on aswel just to be c*nts.

I also f*cked up putting the door card back on twice!
First time I forgot it's meant to slot in the top before doing all the screws up at the bottom so off it came again, second time i'd forgotten to make sure the door wire puller was in it's hole so off it came again, so in total I removed the door card 3 times when it only really needed to be removed once, on the plus side I now know how to remove and refit the b*stards in my sleep.
