they have been steaily dropping, given you can get a 197 for 9k - 9,5k for a high mile 56/07 its hardly a surprise that there sub 5k, alot are 03 platers, so 5 years old, thats 60% depreciation which is pretty fooking guid!
they can be a bit shite in the wet, but are reasonably hard wearing you can get 10k easily out of them unless decked on its arse.
I think once warm they grip fine and thats coming from the roundabout capital of the UK!
easy to keep clean and an 05 plater on that mileage is pretty decent matey.
worth a test drive imo.
look at mullens 182, it is nicely done on here and silver is rewarding!
ultra red looks superb in the flesh, love the alan bus.
nice to read in the thread that ROK painted some cars. Damned contractors!! They will taking a slap in the wrists for that one
didnt your old bus hit 5.9 to 60? sure there was a thread with a the gtec meter beeming the sub 6 second time.
good luck, if you get it beyond the last one, that will be some achievement
one for detailing world if you restore that!!
will require loads of polish and elbow grease, will be a hard shift overall, but certainly will lift it beyond its knackered state
probably cost a bomb in labour as a scottish owner was planning on splitting his cams and stuff and swapping it over etc, ended up being prohibitive sadly!
sure there was a thread on here and it was dearer obviously than what you paid. It is a nice bus mate, but you have to appreciated modded buses do have a more limited market, least the mileage is uber low, so that defo helps.
Youll probably get some interest on here.
there not that bad matey and compared to standard they are the best setup for a reasonable budget.
be careful with rare discs, if you do need them, they are a pain due to the bearing.
