yeh wire brush essential. i had to clean up mine when i was having it set up, took ages. defo needs done every 6months. last knobhead owner never bothered cleaning them :rolleyes:

hmm. could be water in the caliper, try a spot of WD40 in the top bracket. My 172 when sitting around does it quite a lot and i sprayed some of that on a treat on the caliper.

182 cup is never as desirable as the 172 cup, so not sure on that one. FF is the one to get on the 182.

V get conti's imo there the best allrounder. 195/45/R16. Kwik fit were doing 4 for 3 recently on them as well.
