Oh right . From the posts i read i understood you could use one jack to raise the car , a second jack to support the beam when you took the bolt out then lower the beam and remove the spring .
Is the beam ok to the lift the car with the jack ? Strong enough ?
I've read a few posts about changing the rear spring on a 182 . One jack to jack the car up and a second jack onto the rear beam to support it when you remove the 18mm bolt from the damper .
First question , is it just one 18mm bolt , undo and pull out like the arrow in the pic . Is there a...
Looks ok that , should do tho' as its just been sprayed . Time will tell how long it lasts tho . Could be a new grill on the way in the not too distant future .
My 172 had a cd changer under the seat , the wire is above that . If your having trouble getting your hand under the seat push the seat forward and do it from behind the seat :)
It's a commonish problem , and yeah there is a connector . Some people remove the connector and solder the wire...
I'd give it a key first with some fine wet n dry , 320 grit , then plastic primer ,couple of colour coats then matt lacquer .

I have the smoked side repeaters from bodykit.co.uk . They also do others including black . These are mine , match the anthracite alloys perfectly .

A bit crude , but there ya go .
Hold the keyfob in both hands , put your fingers on the red marks , next to the blade , your thumbs on the yellow marks and push the " whole " of the cover towards your fingers and it'll slide open .It looks like the cover is in 2 pieces because of the line in...
I've been running a Yozzapsort + yozz decat for 12 months . Difference in performance - nothing noticeable , difference in noise - yes , it's alot louder .Never run with yozz exhaust and standard cat so i dont know what difference in noise actually is . Gonna refit cat later today for MOT .
Sounds like your interior light will have been to blame . I've done the same , left it on all night and the bloody alarm was going off all night , only done it the once mind lol ;)
Failing that . A battery on the way out can also cause the alarm to go off . But sounds like the interior light...
Just stick with 195 / 45 / 16 , they are that size for a reason , because the manufacturer found them to be the best size for the car . The difference in profile from 45 - 50 is so small ( slightly less than 10mm ) it'll make bugger all difference to handling that you'll notice when your...
Always put new tyres on the rear , move the older tyres to the front . If you have tyres with very little grip on the rear and had to break hard especially in the wet the rear of the car will want to overtake the front end as there is little or no grip .
Plus the bonus of doing it this way is...
Mines never sat 100% right , i think the rubbers in the exhaust brackets are buggered on mine , i'll get em sorted soon . Gonna put the cat back on on Friday for the MOT , it'll be interesting to hear if it's any quieter without the decat .
b****cks to cutting it tho' lol , brave man . The...
I know that you can't use Hotmail through Outlook express anymore , Microsoft stopped supporting the use of both together back around September last year . Im assuming they've done the same with Outlook too .
A bit more here ...
Ermmmm , sounded like a car going through a bit of tunnel tbh mate . I would say the majority of cars sound similar to that going through a tunnel when your giving it some beans . Couldn't really get a good idea from your vid as it was in the dark . Maybe get a vid in the daylight .
Is there a free download available for Vista like the powertoy one for XP ? Ideally just to resize the size of the file not the resolution of the pic .
Any help / links to sites would be appreciated .
You might be able to remove the dent depending on the size and how accessible it is . I've removed a few dents from panels before with 100% success using a wallpaper seam roller .
This is just an example of the roller , you'll need a wooden one not one of the foam ones ...
