Technically , yeah . Legally i'm not sure . Like i said . It might cause problems for the new owner of your old car if it flags up on some insurance database that it's already covered by your insurance policy .
I don't think it's legal to have two separate insurance policies for the same car ...
You can't have an insurance policy for a car that you've just sold ( in theory ) . I understand what your trying to say , i did exactly the same , sold my car on the Monday bought a new one on the Friday and informed my insurance company of the change of car . From now until the 24th of April is...
When i had a stealth made at Powerflow for my 172 , they tried on different back boxes until i was happy with the sound . You can have it as loud or quiet as you want . They will make you an exact copy of the Renault exhaust but it'll be stainless . Nobody will even know it's not an OE exhaust...
I don't see the point in buying a mild steel exhaust . It will rust eventually so will only have a limited warranty . For about £40 more you can get a stainless exhaust with a lifetime warranty made to your requirements at Powerflow .
The lower the number , in your case et35 the further out in the the arch the wheel sits .
I'm not sure what the standard et is on your car but et35 sounds about right for the standard offset . Someone might come along and correct me if i'm wrong about your offset .
Your getting mixed up with the offset of a wheel and the profile of the tyre . You sure the tyre profile is 35  ??
The offset is how far the wheel sits inside the wheel arch on the hub . The profile as in 195/45/16 is the size of the sidewall of the tyre as a percentage of the width of...
They can suffer from heat soak but it's minimal from my experience . You definitely don't need a remap as your ecu will adjust itself according to how much air is allowed in through the filter .
Your mechanic is kinda right with the heat soak but way off the mark with the remap i'm afraid .
You could try ringing gsf or email them through ebay and see if the sell the HC's . The discs on gsf's website say they are £29.45 each , code R60139 280mm vented . Doesn't say they are Brembo HC's though .

How to fcuk your wheel up and potentially your hub  .
If any wheel is stuck on it'll be stuck on with s**t and rust . As advised above , a good hard kick should shift it . If you can't kick it hard enough get a man to do it for you ;)
^^^ It's the spare wheel " well " that's in the way not the spare wheel . You'd have to chop it out and weld in a plate , not worth the hassle .
Yes , the 182 exhaust manifold does offer a bit more power over the 172 . It's a popular mod .
The type R ariels look crap imo , the base is too big for the Clio .
If you go abroad this year , check out some cars there . They all seem to have smaller ariels than UK cars .
I borrowed mine off an Opal Corsa in Menorca :approve:

Don't quote me on this . But i'm pretty sure the Renault headunits are about £300 ish . You might as well get yourself a decent aftermarket headunit for half that price .
So do what i did . Rang Telesat northwest in Blackburn , local sat installer and had in installed in less than 24 hours for the same price Sky is offering .
Same here in Darwen, 3 month waiting list for existing customers . I rang a local sat / tv shop yesterday and they came and fitted it this morning for £79 , same as the Sky offer . Happy days :) Also put me a quad Lnb on some i'm gonna run 2 cables to an extra Sky+ box and use it as a freeview...
All sorted now . Local Satellite / tv shop is coming in the morning to fit it for £79 :) I'm not waiting 3 months for Sky to come and sort it out :dapprove:
Thanks for the info . Now to find a decent " New " Sky+HD box . All the ones i've seen on Ebay cost more than sky are offering at the minute :dapprove:
Setting it up's no problem , i just thought sky would frown upon a DIY installation as they are missing out on some coin .
Looking at Comets website , you have to purchase a HD ready tv to get the box at £29 also if your an exsisting customer you "have " to take the multiroom deal . It's a bit of a con if you ask me .
There's a 3 month ( approx ) waiting list for existing sky customers . It seems once sky have...
