Sounds good mate, will be picking mine up in the next week or so, I need to run in my new engine for a 1000 miles or so before the charger goes on so should be mapped early in January. Will be running low boost for a few months while I build up my forged engine, so should be full spec by middle...

Both, it will start to look a bit tacky, IMO

Cool mate, I think you should consider going forged, you are putting so much effort into this car, will be a lot safer and maybe cheaper in the long run. When are you hoping to have this ready, be good to have a meet on track.

His engine is forged, turbo is a different compression ratio so will need to be done again. Shame you are not selling your engine now tom, I would off had that. What time are running with the nitrous at the moment mate, you know it still won't be quick enough with 600, once you get power...

That's fair enough, but would you use the new engine or buy another one, just seems a shame to rip apart a brand new engine.

I am currently having a brand new engine fitted to my 182 under warranty by Renault, I want to build a low compression engine, would you use the brand new engine or find a good second hand engine and use that and maybe sell the new engine. The engine would be sold with about 1000 miles of road...
