I get this problem in the wet too - in fact I got it so bad last week when I pulled out of a junction in the wet, that my exhaust fell off (thanks to the crappy clamp between the cat and the mid-section)!
This afternoon, leaving the A27 to go into Havant/Hayling Island. ClioSport sticker in rear window. Black glossy alloys, and a little twin exhaust poking out from under the bumper too. Looked nice, but I don't think it was an RS Clio. It was also being harassed by a t**t in a silver Mondeo...
Yeah I have Reanult roof bars too Dan, and there absolutely fine. God knows why someone on here thought you had to drill the roof! They're a 5 minute job to fit, and I got them off ebay for £50. I've got a Thule VeloVise bike carrier which goes on the roof bars - you remove the front wheel, then...
I thought the airbag computer could NOT be reset - it has to be replaced (correct me if I'm wrong).
It always amazes me how much damage little impacts do to cars. I think I would've gone down the insurance route too - you want to make sure the car is how it was before the accident, after all...
Unlucky fella! To start with, definitely get that wheel/tyre changed asap - you don't want another accident!
Also, looks like you'll need a new wing (if that's what is cracked in the pics).
The rest you can probably get chips away or someone like that to fix.
Those DS2 bulbs aren't cheap. Have a look on Fleabay. I've not had a go myself, but I can't imagine they're that difficult to change yourself. Sorry I can't be any more helpful. Perhaps someone on here who has changed their HID bulbs could lend some advice?
Ahh, ok. Cheers matey - I didn't know that. I've just been checking out the prices from various suppliers. All seem to be about the £135 mark plus p+p.
