Mine dropped a valve on a track day last month. Sourced a replacement engine on here and got it fitted. It's back up and running now. Just change the belts and clutch as its easier with the engine out.
Finally used my 3M headlamp restoration kit. Quite a bit more work than I planned for. Despite masking off the bodywork I still caught it with the sander :(
Still, happy with the result as its loads better than before, but it's not perfect.
Changed rear brake discs and pads and painted pad carriers with black VHT paint. Fitted Fabia front splitter after the wife snapped the OEM one in two.
Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but was this confirmed as the right hole size (15mm)?
What's the depth/thickness of the bumper plastic in that area?
Have you tried stripping it again and checking that everything is free to move/slide? If the pads are a tight fit in the carriers you might have to file the edges to give them room to fit freely.
Picked my car up from Rentech today. Replacement engine fitted, with belts and pulley changed. Brembo HC discs and Brembo pads fitted. Feels good to have the car back again after I thought about scrapping it. Just needs a good wash now!
My engined seized on a trackday recently and I was left with a stark choice - scrap the 182 I'd had for two months or seek a replacement engine.
I decided to do the latter and found and bought a 172 engine from a thoroughly decent chap on here. It's been fitted and runs fine but I've been told...
In regards to the options; the lens extension allows you to put the camera body in a different location to the lens, for a super-stealthy install. The hardware kit allows you to hardware the power instead of using the cigarette adaptor. The super capacitor replaces the battery when being used as...
I've ordered several off eBay from different sellers without any paperwork and they have all been 100% legal with both the BS mark bottom right and the manufacturer's postcode bottom centre.
Mine was maintained with no expense spared for 102k until something gave way in the engine last week whilst on a track day and it was starved of oil, seizing the whole engine.
I would say these, http://cooksport.co.uk/shop/product/springs/renaultsport-clio-197-200-cooksport-springs
But they're out of stock. What about Eibachs?
As above, found these on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261437140249?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Are they the right ones for a 182 and how do you remove them?
Just bought this one for my 3.5 year old. It has "isosafe" fixings to keep the seat in place. Not used it yet but it gets great reviews. http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/car-seats-booster/c-591/groups-2-3-4-11-years-approx-/p-9855/joie-trillo-group-2-3-car-seat/
Just got one of these today for my birthday. Memory card is in the post so had to make do with an old 1GB card I had lying around for testing and setup. Seems like a great little camera on first appearances. Got the car kit from Joovoo.com so got the capacitor and suction mount etc
