So what do you mean unusable? Care to elaborate?
I'm not looking at being quicker than everyone else on track, which some people in here don't seem to get that concept. Just after a tyre that doesn't fall to pieces, something that's needs more concentration than just throwing the car into...
Looking to start taking the car apart in the week mate, how soon do you need it?
Yah the Cup you've seen is being broken but the new one is here to stay! ;)
You f***s. Don't knock it until you tried it! ;)
p.s. Oli, you're on the Failsport Le Mans hit list. X
Cheers Sonny!
Lol, quite a few people have said this.
The other cup wasn't very pretty, so now I'm definitely not going racing I'd like a minter one with similar spec. So breaking the old...
Lol. They squeel like pigs!
Was never blown away with Spec2's, terrible in the wet. Road noise when not driving 'on it' isn't a problem either when I have an Oreca system. Lol
Yeah these were two brands that I had in the back of my mind, got a set of each in the shed still. Both seemed to hold up well enough on a damp to very wet Llandow apart from killing the shoulders which was because the car didn't have much in the way of camber that day.
Toyos and Hankook V12's...
Cheers for the input guys.
Geometry settings ill looking to have -
Camber will be having 3 degrees front / 2.5 rear.
Toe out is 10mins total front / as parallel as I can on the rear.
Caster will be AST topmounts set to max and 172 cup wishbones for the time being. Want to look into more...
Afternoon all, with my new cup I've acquired I'm looking to start doing a few trackdays. I'm after a road tyre that's a good all rounder (dry/wet) and doesn't fall to pieces after a few laps/shoulders don't disappear either. I know it's a compromise using road tyres first of all but its...
The last one was a bit of a mess bodywork wise so never really clicked with it, though it did have a lot of reall nice mods, some of which will be making there way onto this one to finish the car off.
X-Low subframes are going nowhere matey, been after these for ages! ;)
Cheers Rhys, meant to...
Morning all, popped up to Manchester yesterday to collect another new Cup from 172CupAdam. To say I was surprised when I turned up to see one of the best built/mint looking Cups I was over the moon, took it for a quick test drive and drove lovely. So proceeded whilst we were out to go to the...
Lol.
In my experience Phil loves everything he fits to his cars and tells everyone their wrong to have a differing opinion. Well that's until he's proven by others that some of the parts aren't all that or he couldn't get them to work properly himself.
I've got a kit ill be selling in the next week or so, no deflector plates but all the pipework from the modifiedfoglight surrounds into the arch liners.
