Only one point to note is that parts and tuning part are not cheep for this car and you will never gain a lot of BHP on this engine as most make 250 ish not the 275 the book said . Alan

Little bit quicker than a MK 6 GOLF GTI I found in my one . handle nice bit heavy at 1525 KG for the GT pack ones . I love my one for the looks and noise alone . Alan

It was on a Hub dyno so around 30-40 if it was on a rolling road . Gains were 19.3 BHP at the Hub Alan

So on Friday I went up to Abbey Motorsport to have some Cobra HFC and a Milltek Y pipe fitted and the Uprev done . Y pipe HFC Uprev with print out The car started off with low ish numbers but saw some good gains in the end . + 19.3 BHP and + 12.9 LB/FT Converting this in to old money...

At the weekend I did the diff oil change parts . The filler plug was a PITA to get off but a bit of heat sorted this . The plug had some shavings and sludge on it and the oil was a darker honey colour so a change was a good plan .

Hmm not sure about that as I would have to buy two induction kits because of the HR layout, and I think I have read that its similar to the 182 in that induction kit actually lowers the BHP :confused: If it is an open cone style it would lose BHP but the noise is amazing . Also any power mod...

Had the first small problem with the Z . The cooling fans are not kicking in ( common problem ) and the engine will overheat if left at idle . Nissan want over £ 850 for the fans so have got the below on order with some other bits . Price Paid or not Item dispatched or not Feedback...

I still like the 207 and will drive it at times from the GF . Think it got a bad rap for not being the new 205 . Alan

I thought you would approve it from the 207 GTI :) The girlfriend has now got the 207 GTI so it has worked out well . I still say the 207 GTI is a good car ( if it is working ) and would fit all of my needs but it does not excite me and as much as I tried I could never love / get excited about...
