Not really keen on the supersprayer . Not enough foam for me and no pressure .

    My little trip to Renault!

Only on CS will you find one at that abnormally low price . Everywhere else expect to pay around 9 - 9.5k for 55 plate if it's in good condition . Why do people always under value their cars on here . It's beyond me

    Do these things actually work?

Well work it out mate . £6.50 for 8 - 17 extra bhp . Tuning companies with years of experience charge around £300 for a remap for less bhp . Who's actually bullshitting and who actually knows what they are doing ?? I'd say the tuning companies ;)

    Absoluty Gutted

I can't see Chipsaway doing that for £35 quid tbh . It wouldn't be worth his time , effort , fuel , cost of paint ........ It'll but more in the region of £70 - £100 imo .

a few more changes to the rb

Looks good mate . I'd change the side repeaters for smoked ones though if it was me then it would be inkeeping with the anthracite wheels and door badges . Second ones down would finish it off imo . They are more grey than they look in the pic ...

Sounds exactly like Turtle wax " wax it wet " tbh . Only a fiver from Tescos ;)

    How do I paint..

Your lucky then . If it was vinyl the lacquer would react with it and melt it . If you find you've haven't got as gloss a finish as you wanted , get some Meguiars Scratch X , it'll come up really shiny .

what to pepole think off this kit

Now you've just shattered my illusions of your thing :( Sorry mate , not keen on that body kit at all , especially in primer grey :dead: Each to their own though if you fancy it .

You need to get it installed by an approved Toad installer for the insurance company to recognise the Thatcham Cat 1 rating .

what to pepole think off this kit

I've got to agree with Chris . The thing really sets it apart from other kits i've seen . In fact it's probably one of the biggest and best " things " i've ever seen ;)

    How do I paint..

Are you going to lacquer over the sticker ? If it's vinyl the lacquer will melt the sticker and it'll curl up at the edges .

    How do I paint..

When i painted mine i rubbed it down a bit with some 800 grit wet n dry just to give the plastic primer something to key into . Tbh you probably don't even need any plastic primer as it's already been sprayed in the factory . I did it just to be on the safe side . Yeah you'll need to...

    Performance Air Filter???

When i spoke to the guy in research and developement at K+N , he told me always disconnect the negative for 30 mins to reset the ecu . I didn't do this when i fitted the K+N Apollo and the bloody car just stopped , had to get a tow home off the AA as he couldn't get it going again . Lots of...

    bump strips

You could spray them yourself with aerosols following FM's guide , it's not hard tbh . Or take the bump strips off and get them sprayed professionally . Shouldn't cost too much . Give them the paint code and they get the paint mixed up . http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=243967

    Fitting Sidelights

If you've got aircon , which i'm assuming you have from your avatar then the drivers side is a bugger to change . Here's how i changed mine for LED bulbs . 10th post down . http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=281223&highlight=led+sidelights

    Small dent...please help.

I suppose it depends on the location of the dent . I had 3 removed . 1 in the drivers door , 1 in the rear quarter panel and 1 in the roof which he said would be the most difficult as the headlining is bonded to the roof . All removed within an hour and only cost £90 , £60 of which my neighbours...

    oil

Renault say it takes 5.1 litre with the filter change , i've never needed more than 5 litres . If you don't change the oil filter 4.75 litres is usually enough . The only time my 182 ever used any oil was when i bought it new and needed a slight top up after a couple of months . I changed...

    oil

You'll only need 5 litres of oil even when you change the oil filter , that takes it up to the MAX line on the dipstick .

    oil

No need for the extra litre or to flush the old oil . As said Opieoils is as cheap as you'll get for 5 litres of Silkolene . http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1146-silkolene-pro-s-5w-40-ester-synthetic-oil-for-high-performance-engines.aspx

    Rain X

Halfords sell their own brand of Rain X . Same stuff but cheaper ;) I've used it for years . Don't know why so many people have problems with it . If it's applied as per the instructions it works fine .
