I got mine ( smoked ) from here with the chrome repeater bulbs .
They sell lots of different styles including clear ones .

I prefer the Collinite 845 insulator wax to the 476 myself . Lasts just as long but is much easier to apply / remove .

Tbh the chances are that her dad has called you an idiot and probably not in a joking manner . He's probably one of these curtain twitchers who has nothing better to do than watch others and critisice them .
I wouldn't worry about it mate . You've got a nice car , you enjoy keeping it clean...
Not necessarily lied to more like economical with the truth . I had bt years ago and they were a bag o' shite then , i wouldn't trust them one bit .
You might be told yes sir , you will get 4mb , 8mb etc ....by a customer service advisor over the phone , but you try and prove it when you...
Who told you you " would " get 4mb . Most providers have the get out clause of " up to " . I very much doubt any isp will guarantee a connection speed You on BT broadband ?? If your only getting 0.7mb thats appalling . I'd be one unhappy bunny too .
You won't get anywhere near 210bhp from a chip ;)
You've already mentioned a couple of things with the exhaust and airfilter . You can look at getting the inlet manifold matched , plenty of posts on this topic on here . A couple of members offer this service . Apparently the inlet manifold...
It might sound like a bit of overkill , but for the sake of a few minutes extra and piece of mind that i've removed as much crap as possible thats how i prefer to do it anyway.
Like i said in my earlier post . I powerwash as much dirt of as possible , then high power foam it , leave to dwell a while to help soften any dirt , then power wash that off just with water , then foam again and continue with the washmitt and 2 bucket method .
Like aceface says . The more dirt you can get off before you attack it with a washmitt the better . Then you've less chance of scratching the paintwork .
I never wash my car without first pressure washing it , then foaming it .
When i bought a new battery for my 172 it was sealed and ready charged . I had to fit it on the car park of the place i bought it cos the original was fcuked and i needed jump leads to get me going .
Sealed batteries can be charged , they are only maintenance free as in they shouldn't ever...
^^^ Don't worry mate , it'll soon drop to 280 miles a tank , lol .
I don't think the petrol gauge / comp is very accurate imo .
If you try the little trick with the cars comp and check how many litres there are leftin the tank , then fill your car up with say " 20 litres " it never adds...
I don't think it's anything to do with the tracking . My 182's done this ever since i bought it new .
Mine only does it when i reverse out of the garage and put on full lock , the surface is slightly gravelly so it scrambles for grip . Thats the only time mine does it , when the tyres are cold .
A green card is proof you have insurance in the UK . You used to need them , now you don't so long as you take your insurance certificate with you . You can still get issued with a green card though if you prefer , you'll have to ring your insurance company and get them to send you one ...
I've used the guys at Powerflow / Topgear in Burnley . Couldn't fault their work , 90 mins in and out job done :) I'd definitely use them again without hesitation .
I'm with Adrian Flux and i'm pretty sure i get 30 days cover in Europe , without checking my policy . I would imagine i could extend that if needs be for a fee .
From what i understand all insurance companies have to give you cover in Europe free of charge for a limited period . Must be...
As said 72k is the recommeded service interval , it's a little optimistic imo . I had to change mine at 30k on my 172 as i was losing power / hesitating up to 2.5k revs . If your not having any problems i'd just leave them .
They already did . It's called the Megane 225 ;) They won't put a 2 litre turbo in a Clio as this would step on the toes of the Megane powerwise and pricewise .
I pressure wash the car first to loosen any dirt , then i use the high pressure foam , quick rinse then foam again and proceed with the 2 bucket method .
The foam lance you posted about from Halfords is an attachment for Karcher pressure washers . It's not a stand alone product you can attach to a hose pipe .
Those karcher foam lances are crap imo . They hold very little shampoo/water and run out quickly . They don't produce much foam either .
If you already have a pressure washer you could try my method . Cheaper than any foam lances ;) 11th post down ...
Good bit of advice there edde .
If it gets down to -17 i'll dance naked in Darwen town centre ;)
For anyone thinking of changing their antifreeze/coolant it should be mixed in the ratio of 60% antifreeze 40% water . Pure antifreeze does freeze at around -10 .
Agree . I'd never buy cheap unbranded discs and pads . You might buy them and find out they are crap then have to buy some decent ones so it would be false economy .
Having said that the buyer does have 100% feedback on over 18,000 sales , so there's alot of happy punters out there .
