Hate is a bit of a strong word to use. There not my favourite wheels but the arches on the FN2 are quite narrow and with the BBK fitted you need to fit an et40 wheel to clear the brakes. The OEM wheels are et55 and as I don't want to run spacers there aren't many wheels out there that are 17x8...
What cookie and phase1sr said, genuine Mugen ones add loads of scene points :D
The Bronze ones are quite rare I only know of 3 others. Most people bought them in Red, Silver or Black
Well before I bought the FN2 I was also considering a DC5 or an EP3.
As Ive had already had an EP3 I ruled that out pretty quickly. There a great car and can be had really cheap now days and are great in track, but they are a little dated now and don't come with many gizmos.
The DC5 was a...
It is pretty quick, but all the money that's been spent on the car has been to turn it in too a weapon on track, just can't wait to try it out properly
Since breaking my clio at the back end of last year I was left needing something to fill the void. I couldn't help but look at jap cars again since selling my Civic Type R EP3 4 years ago. It's just something about Honda's and there high revving engines that is so addictive.
After looking...
I ordered mine from elite developments in colchester, they have an eBay page too. They offer a few different length studs, at one point I ran 16mm spacers with no issues.

Mine did this and turned out the sliders were dry as and the pistons had started to rust as the seals were knackered. Ended up just buying a new set of calipers from ECP.
This is correct, but it's also slightly miss leading. The 3,500kg of MAM goes on the max towing weight of your tow vehicle eg 1800kg and the max towing weight of your trailer eg 2000kg. It doesn't matter if your train weight (car + trailer + race car) is less than 3,500kg it goes on the maximum...
I used 15x7 et35 on mine with 5mm spacers all round.
If you want to fill the arches and not use any spacers you could get away with
15x7 et25 front
15x7 et 30 rear
I've done quite a few track days now and always seem to take the same bits.
Spair front and rear pads - just oem cheap ones to get me home if needs be
1 litre of engine oil
1 litre of brake fluid
Track wheels (pro race 1.2s with r888)
Trolley jack
Foot pump
Tyre pressure gauge
Small collapsible...

I bought my AST's direct from Curtis at AST and I matched them with a brand new set of pure motorsport solid top mounts.
Unfortunately my car is now for sale and I may be stripping it soon so all parts will be for sale
Daniel
I had the spax system on mine before I bought my AST's
They were terrible, too soft for track they ended up breaking where the strut connected to the top mount.
Buy cheap buy twice.
HC discs and ds3000 pads. Perfect combo, slight bit of a squeak when cold but once there warm you know about it. Great bite when up to temp and I've never had them fade on track.
Ive got a spare set of 205/50/15 R888's for sale on eBay. All have just or are just about to hit the wear bars. Perfect for track use.

May be of some use but my Clio 172 is for sale. Nearly fully race ready all it needs is the cut off switch, fire extinguisher and rain light
