Are you a thousand percent sure it's blowing at the join and not at the cat? Mine was at the cat so I put a new one on it. If you get rid of that silencer that'll stop it sagging too haha.
My Dad has a 197 and I have a 182. The 197 is a nicer car to do miles in I'll admit that.
For a hoon down back roads though the 182 is faster. It's definitely quicker off the mark and down the country roads though. I'm not biased as I've driven both and so has he, and he really does agree.
Yeah they're 35 mins from me.
As I say, they're renault specialists, proper good lads.
My car made 183 bhp after they'd timed it, stronger than any I've seen so they've clearly done it right
They're seriously a hidden gem, they know every single nut and bolt on a clio or megane, they're massively renowned specialists. Every time I go there's several sports in, 197's 200's, everything.
I couldn't rate them any higher. Their pricing and professionalism is impeccable and the only...
Well, they're both ex renault mechanics, they race a fully fettled clio 182 and he has a fully forged nyon racecar megane with near 400 bhp, guess that shows they know quite a bit.
Why you acting like a prick?
DDC in Doncaster are a brilliant garage. They seriously know their s**t, you only need look at what cars they drive to know that. They're all I use, they timed mine up and did a belt change and mine made 182.8 bhp on Pauls Rollers.
Mine made 182.8 bhp and nearly 165 ft lbs on Pauls Rollers, clio 182 with janspeed sports cat, scorpion cat back and ktec ind kit.
He seemed surprised how much it made.
171 isn't so bad, I'd of expected higher though tbh
It looks awesome! Exactly how I'd have mine. I don't know how keen I am on the euro fog lights, I'd maybe remove that film but would have to see it.
Will you be bringing it to CSF?
Did the 182 actually win when you timed it then? I wasn't really about when this thread was up so just reasonably eager to see what happened lol.
Just shows its all fiddling though results wise etc. Load of shite.
Personally I'd paint a high temperature black paint around the inside of the disc. That way it won't get rusty! It'll soon wear off any excess paint when you use them and look neat.
The black specs appear to be tar. Leave some obliterate or tardis to dwell on there for a good while. Really agitate with a sponge and wash. If it gets some off kept going. Do the same with the iron remover. I'd seal them too personally.
Can someone please point me to that thread where it was shown that the 182 was scripted to lose the race to the 200 yet they falsely portrayed it?
Was it @tonyhunter car?
Thanks
If we're on about @dann2707 then yes mate with the blue 182!

I've got a scorpion RS192 with a mid silencer delete pipe and a janspeed sports cat.
It sounds imo incredible. Really seriously awesome! Loud too, not overly but loud.
Kind of. It's mainly the fact his spacers weren't bolt to hub mate. If you imagine how your wheel normally attaches, he has extra long bolts taking the entire strain instead of one's that bolt into the hub and then int the spacer. Run these if you want to be safer.
Looks to be about 225 miles @RyG haha a f**king long way lol! Nah CSF is much closer. Only an hours run so much more worthwhile :) haha. You're coming .. right?
