How do I replace the bulbs? I've pulled the black rubber bung off, twisted the black carrier and have the carrier out with the bulb inside.
How do you remove the bulb from the carrier?
Thanks.
Haha fair play.
The sidelights are amazing as in the way that they match the main beams, but the full beam looks yellow, especially next to the xenons.
What Kelvin do people use for their high beams? Currently got 6k sidelights and the 182 xenons, just wondering whether 5k full beam osram bulbs would look okay for the H1?
Cheers.
Haha what is these mystical tyres you speak of? Who has tyres in stock? Haha sounds good!
I thought you'd like that big gearstick flopping around when you're driving? Feel like a c**k floating about in your hand? You'd be able to hold it and just picture me there at all times. Be amazing for...
You are genuinely the guy that made me buy mine.
I asked you a few questions on ownership a year or so back and your positive response steered me towards one and the forum and such like!
Lol which I won't be. Haha. My hands are reasonably big but I'll have a go. You just whack the black rubber off and pull the carrier out don't you, pull the bulb out the carrier and shove this new one in?
That looks excellent mate! Really like that a lot.
Managed to find some osram ones. They do a 4k and a 6k in the LED.
Which would be best to get rid of the yellow colour I have now? And match in the best?
Thank you Dan,
Very very helpful. So an led bulb is always the colour it is so to speak and doesn't vary like a halogen bulb?
I just have this yellowish glow that gets right on my nerves haha. Same with the fog lights. Might get some for that too!
Will it look okay with the LED bulb like not...
Thanks for that mate. How hard / easy are the sidelight bulbs to do? Haha. Am I right in thinking that the sidelight bulbs are lit when your main beam and dipped beam are on?
What k should I go for in the sidelights then?
Basically, as you all know, the xenon bulbs on the 182 are pretty blue and obviously the sidelight and full beam aren't.
What colour Kelvin and bulbs would I need to get a colour match to the xenons so that they all looked the same colour? Want good bulbs if possible.
Always irritates me how...
Been meaning to chat to you about that mate, how is it doing now?
Really have read a lot of scary s**t on turboing them but I couldn't spend another s**t load of money getting the belts done for a tiny little leaking prissy bolt without feeling it for a bigger cause lol.
Really do think no go...
