Honestly pal, I had the same mods on my old 172 Cup (No aircon) plus matched inlets and an RSTuner map on a corker of an engine and it only made 181bhp / 167lb/ft torque. Realistically with a strong engine that will be making between 175-180bhp, for a staring point having all them modifications...
Ah I love a good esprit, just a shame it's been charvered up by it's owner. Looked better when he purchased the car.
These cars should be 100% original imo.
Yeah the Pirelli P Zero Rossas are another £20 odd quid cheaper than the conti's so that's why I added them to the potential tyre list.
Tyre sizes I'm after are the 225/45/17 (front) and 245/40/17 (rear).
The number for that Brian chap would be lovely please, as I've said to my brother who...
Lol true, however if/when I come to sell it. Having good tyres with lots of tread is another better selling point seeing as I'd be commanding a premium amount of money for it I think.
Even with old worn out conti's there's enough grip matey, the car puts the power down easily without mega...
Really regarding the Pirelli over the michelins? What reasons?
Heard of Vredesteins but never used them, thought they were a midrange tyre.
Sorry if it seems I've messed you about Ben with the order, I was going to get them ordered but I don't want to buy them if they wore out so quickly!

Ah more mixed reviews! Having looked on a few tyre review websites last night the PS3 have better percentage reviews to the conti's but not by much. The problem is the comments of each tyre vary so much, people saying they get 6-10k miles out of a set of PS3's and then others say they get 30k...
Ah that's good, as ive got old/worn contis on my M3 that don't seem that great but I found the Michelin PE2's I've had before to be epic in the wet as well as great grip/comfort/quiet on the road. Only downside to them it seems is the reviews say they wear quicker than the contis.
Nick
Looking to get a set of tyres for the M3 in the next couple of days, just wondered what peoples opinions on these tyres and what you'd get? Both are premium brands with no doubt the michelins being better but are slightly more expensive.
Michelins - £440 Delivered
Conti's - £380 Delivered...
Your spending the same amount as I am on fixing your clio? Surely that cant be right!
Indeed I love to think that all the work i've done will help resale, though to some people its still a high miler car.
Cheers mate, like I said earlier in the thread I can get very particular about doing...
Gotta love a bit of Trax track time, bloody free for all!
Chip, you need a diff in that! Must be a right pain coming out of every corner spinning the wheels that much!
Lol, i'll wont be swapping these arms with anyone Chip, i'll be selling them I think seeing as its highly likely that Renault arent making them anymore! ;)
