With mine the previous owner had the cambelt kit changed but only the aux belt itself and not aux belt kit. Soon after I got it the bearing at the bottom of the belt started to whine like a b1tch. So NW Performance fitted me a genuine Renault aux belt kit at a very good price.

It beats changing exhausts on the drive with a jack!

No I don't think it looks right, I'd prefer some white 2118's.

Finally got my engine cover sprayed black after a couple of sprayers at work decided to create a Buzz Lightyear edition instead. Also on Saturday I changed the oil/filter, fitted an ITG panel filter and replaced the Magnex with a standard exhaust.

Seems really cheap! I'm on my iPhone at the min so can't really look them up, but do they do other 172 parts??

I suppose it's easy enough to move the hangers, if they are fixed ones. Or can you get a spacer for inbetween the cat and the exhaust?

Is there more tolerance with aftermarket exhausts? They have longer hangers don't they?

Just at work and want to arrange a courier for my magnex exhaust. How much do you think it will weigh? No more than 20kg? Cheers

Must have been asked before and have had a search but couldn't find anything. I always thought Renault changed the exhaust on the 172's between the ph1 and ph2. But I bought a centre section that came off an early ph1 that won't fit my 2001 y reg ph1. I've now got an exhaust off a ph2, will...

I was at the lights facing the Shell garage where you turned off, I don't think you saw me as you just shot passed. Must have been another guy admiring your orange clio with a chav exhaust ;)

I've had 3 172's and none have costed much at all to keep on the road, touch wood. Have you looked at many ph1's Aboo?
