You need to speak to Scoff or do some research on him. He fitted a VW gearbox onto the F4R after he destroyed a couple of JC5 gearbxes on the strip. It's not the easiest job in the world but it can/has been done.

Well just lowering the comp and running the same SC speed etc... isn't really gonna gain you anything. I'd take a long hard look at whats been done with SC kits before you go wasting a load of cash stripping and rebuilding your engine only to be left pretty disapointed.

The short answer is no, 400bhp in a front wheel drive it isn't pointless. It all comes down to how it's mapped and the way the power is delivered. From personal experience my old Revo'd Ibiza TDi was much more of a pig than my clio despite the clio running more torque and bhp

From personal experience I've never seen megane injectors run that power in either a megane or a clio but me and Danny have had this discussion before so we'll just leave it at that. If you really want a turbo clio I'd sell yours and buy this...

TBH mate I think this will be standard issue on all these conversions especially after all the failures thats happend recently, even I've did it to mine just to be safe :) Get some graphs up then mate, seems to be loads of 200bhp+ clios out there now but very few dyno graphs? I wouldn't mind...

Chris for £1600 you could easily build a low pressure turbo conversion and have it mapped, I even know someone local to you who would enjoy helping you build a turbo trophy :D Just a thought
