The ones that went with the carbon bonnet were the ones that were fitted before I even purchased yours. Royal mail admitted liability and you'd already said to me via pm that you were waiting to hear from them. So I know your lieing and didn't do anything about it or have but not refunded me my...
Lol at 2 seconds quicker a lap after refitting a cat, because it gives you that much more torque! Priceless that!
Phil, step away from the computer with all your Internet reading, you actually make yourself look like a complete idiot! Lol
Dave don't do it! Just think if James got bored of it within 6 months why would you want it?
Does look nice but their not that great, much better/economical cars out there.
It's more than fitting an engine. How about brakes? As leaving the standard ones is frankly retarded, and to fit 172 front calipers surely you have to fit 172 hubs as well.
You want my opinion, get a 172. Want a sleeper? Fit non sport bumpers and wheels onto it to make it look like a sleeper...
Had the same immobiliser problem with mine as well as Dan freeman 182 too, tried lots of things the both of us and nothing ever fixed the problem.
The only way it would seem to fix it was a whole car wiring loom, with ecu and uch.
Nick
What's wrong with it? If it runs and there's nothing wrong with it then it's worth between 2-2.5k.
Lol at only getting £1200 for breaking it, at least £2,000 easily in parts.
The cup will always be admired more by truer petrol heads/enthusiasts, it's near the last of no driver aid cars which makes the drive more enjoyable imho.
Not to say that the standard 172 is pants, it's still a very good car. Just a bit softer all round, but makes up with the luxuries...
Just get hold of an RSTuner off here, will cost about a £100 and the unlock code is about £30. You'll feel a but of a difference but nothing staggering, will give you a bit more low-mid range torque which is nice. It'll also smooth out the cold start idle also.
Don't listen to the person...
Tape the end of the post lambda sensor and stick it above the heatshield. Then just stick a bolt on the lambda hole on the decat, light should go out and run normally.
Great writeup as always Jay. A pretty damn good season I thought, reliability (bar the engine obv.) and competing with the guys right up front there shows how much more of an improvement over the first season. Sorry I was quiet towards the end of the season, will try and attend most if not all...
I think that your just annoyed at the fact others are using you for your car. Just man up and tell them to f**k off!
My mrs didn't drive for a while and I got fed up of being a taxi, so I made her get public transport to come and see me! Running costs on a car for me aren't a problem, but i'm...
Actually speechless at how much of an idiot you really are, you failed to see the point I was making and the op has made completely. Very clever you are for a 32 year old but lacking reading skills and common sense.
Oh I know about unsprung mass etc, just makes me laugh when people come on this forum spouting it for their little clios that'll only see trackdays when it realistically won't make a single bloody difference as their not Vettel/Button etc etc.
Will look 'pretty' though! Lol
That's an amazing bit of info, will make you that much more awesome on a trackday! Worth it for racing maybe, however for trackdays if you want to throw s**t loads of money away to look cool and still be overtaken by a better driver in a standard clio that crack on my friend. Lol
Lol at unsprung mass, making handling much better. Better wear on disks? Think you find both side of my disks wore evenly enough on a standard caliper, think the info you've copy and pasted are having you on.
Have a day off...
Thought the paradas were average at best, only good for a road tyre that you drive mildly quick on the road and I mean midly. Anything else and there pants but for the money they cant be beaten. I'd personally go for some Hankook V12 Evos, far better grip in the dry, much improved wet grip yet...
