No no I agree with you Tom with regards to that, they were nearly finished with anyways so didn't use them on track etc after the snow. It was all I had at the time to get around so made do.
All I'm saying is if you drive sensibly, leave enough distance to compensate for conditions you'll be...
Lol okay then... You must have had a faulty box, poor rebuild or your 'careful' isn't so... Plenty of people on here with 120k thrashing the shite out of there factory fitted gearboxes around tracks without any problems.
The gearboxes only break at the hands of idiot driving, yes that includes me for the first gearbox I had but with mechanical sympathy they'll last mega mileage!
You got a ph1? Sold the valver as well? If its whining then change the gearbox oil to 75/90, if that doesnt cure it then new gearbox time! I've got one if you need one, good condition as you know.
My reasoning for it being a shed is if the owner runs a filter like that, I hate to think what else has been bodged/hasn't even been done at all to it. It hardly looks a mint example also, hence a it looking a shed...
That thing must have been f'ing cheap for you to buy that, looks a complete shed! That filter is discusting, probably sucked in shed loads of crap/rust by the looks of the filter.
