Safety devices rear cage goes in with the rear seats although I would have thought if you cut the seat or leave it folded down like the 205's would be fine.

I had this cage and if you remove the rear diagonal you could in theory use the seats but in the event of a crash I would think it would be very likely of you hitting the cage so I never had anyone in the back.
I think its a good idea and as you say, no motorsport is cheap but you dont have to do all the rounds and if it gets people into the sport relatively cheaply then thats great.
One of the big costs that is easy to miss is the traveling to and from the events and time away from home/work.
1's have a smaller shaft and are non adjustable, 2's are 2 way adjustable with thicker shafts.
