They didn't look the worse on it to be fair but I think the MK3 suits wheels with thinner spokes

PS3s are very mediocre

I had my DZ03's on them and ran them for a couple of TD's then sold them. Not really wide enough and these came up. Also, Sold the Cup wheels and have some TD 1.2s en route that shall be shod with some AR-1's or the new MRF tyres for trackdays.

I've seen a few reports of these MRF tyres supposedly being the R tyre to get. If they really are better than a DZ03 then I'll definitely be getting a set. I'd be interested to see actual data and times comparing them though, not just people saying they are faster

My go to do all tyre, have only ran 235s up until now so be good to see how much of a difference the larger ones make

That looks great, got a real soft spot for the mk4 with some choice mods

Mine is stripped out as well haha, they are a bit slippy when new to be fair though, once scrubbed up and a heat cycle in them they are great though

Haha, I'd of bought several sets if they could be had that cheap, still cheap though. Especially when compared to Cup 2s which were my other choice, there's no way the Cups are twice as good to justify the cost

Mega tyres, I ran the older AD08 at Spa in torrential rain and the grip was unbelievable once you got a bit of heat in them, standing water isn't so much of an issue when they still have plenty tread depth left. Stuck some R compound ones on Megane before we went to the Ring done 25 low 8...

I gave in and done them anyway, mainly for the first reason you mentioned, for easier not having to deal with tyres, particularly when they will have 255s on

Picking up my freshly refurbed OZs later today and have some C5 to seal them with. Won't be getting tyres on them til the end of the month, am I wasting my time sealing them now? Easier as they will be spotless so don't need to wash them and they will be off the car anyway, I've seen people...

Surely getting in on track is the best way to do so? You cant really drive these sort of things at their most ont he road without being an utter c**t. I had done my first TD in the Megane a week after collecting it LOL

The wheels are quite a marmite thing tbf, Id struggle to go back to black wheels now as i think it looks pish with them LOL Cup wheels are gonna get painted again this year as they will be used as track wheels. Might go blue this time....

Don't need to modify them, but you can only get around - 2 degrees camber with the stock holes and you physically can't get into adjust the camber without dropping the strut. Swivels isn't a hugely expensive issue tbh, Aaron's Autos do them for 175 a side for the lower ones. You can buy...

Fairly big, whole hub and carrier needs to come off it it's both upper and lower, so basically the whole front end comes off LOL

ASTs fitted, all 4 swivels changed and the turrets modified to allow on car camber adjustment, running - 2.5 at the moment but got the option to run upto - 4 degrees, which will be handy when/if I decide to start using slicks
