Not if the colour coat finish is ok . Just apply a few good coats of lacquer now . You only need to sand the top coat or lacquer if the finish isn't perfect . 1200 grit should be ok if you do need to sand , personally i'd go for 1500 or 2000 grit though .
If you go to a place where the guy knows what he's doing he will be able to match pretty much any colour . When i wanted anthracite for my spare wheel i found nobody actually sells it , not even Renault . I left the centre cap with them and he mixed the colour to match the centre cap . Using...
Yeah . I frequently sit there at rev the ass off my car , just to hear the IK noise ;) . Or maybe i acutally drive the car exactly the same as i did when i had the standard airbox and my fuel consumption has gone up due to more air being allowed into the engine and the ecu adjusting the fuel...
^^^ I agree . I've just bought 2 400ml aerosols from a local car parts supplier that mixes paint , they always mix it spot on and only £7.00 a tin . Or try these . I think they mix all the paint for Renault touch up sticks and aerosols .

The guy i've used a few times is a Bosch trained and can run a diagnostic check on any car , even though its a siemens system . Charges £50 . I always thought Renault charged £50 also from what i've read , but i might be wrong . You could try a different Renault garage .
Let me know how you get on . It took him around 30 mins for all 4 dents , the one on the door was in a really bad place . He does seem a bit of a prefectionist . I thought the dent had gone but he could still a little bit . He's got better eyes than me , lol .
^^^ Does it really matter ? A typical wax will only contain around 15 - 20% carnauba . The main constituent is beeswax , candelilla wax and oils, the darker waxes also contain either montan oil or montan wax , the same that is found in shoe polish. Even the so called " better " waxes will only...
Halfords are basically shite unless you want bog standard paint . Your better off talking to a local paint / body part supplier, plus they are usually cheaper .
Well from my point of view . I had a mk 2 172 which i loved . I waited until the mk3 clio came out and didn't like the look of it so i bought a new 182 . Its more or less the same car tbh . Slightly different alcantara finish on the seats than the 172 , no big deal , the obvious differences are...
You can't go wrong with the xxx hardcore paste wax or the 50/50 , the latter not being as durable . But if you wax it once or twice a month durabilty shouldn't be an issue .

I've had 4 dents removed today for £60 . 2 in the roof , 1 in the drivers door and 1 in the passenger side quarter panel .
The 2 in the roof were caused by a neighbours kid throwing a lump of metal over the garden fence , the little b4stard . So he charged them £50 for the roof ;) only a...
I've got 4 now :( 2 tiny ones on the roof happened the other day , neighbours little b4stard tearaway kids threw a piece of metal over the garden fence . Gettin it sorted tomorrow ( hopefully ) at least the neighbour's paying , gonna get the door and quarter panel dents sorted as well .
The attachement for the shampoo is pretty crap imo . It onlys lasts a short while then its empty . Autoglym shampoo isn't renowned for foaming anyway .
This is my favourite shampoo .

The service light doesn't mean its due for its service . It means there is a problem with the car and as you say the airbag light is on as well so there's your problem . Its usually the wire for the airbag under the passenger seat . Just give it a wiggle and it " should " go off .If that doesn't...
