I'm on my second import , the first being a 172 , i had an aftermarket alarm fitted and renualt locking wheel nuts and sold it on autotrader for the same price as so called " UK " models .
My 182 is from motorpoint . Full 3 year Renault warranty and full 3 year AA assist ;) Toad aftermarket...
^^^ Paintings painting mate . Not rocket science , lol . Just make sure you give them a good clean first . I used these wire brushes in a drill , you can buy them in pound shops as well . Imo it's easier if you have the calipers off , but then again i have a spare set ...
If you've had 2 powerflow systems , you must have liked the first one to buy a second one ??
I think it's all down to the outlet you get your system from and how good the guys are . I've seen loads of posts slating powerflow . But my experience of them is a good one , well built exhaust ...
What a load of b****cks that grit gurad is . All the crap off your wash mitt will be floating around in the water as microscopic patricles . Just use the 2 bucket method . As said above , a couple of quid for a couple of builders buckets . Thats all you need .
Best thing to do if your gonna modify anything or colour code anything is get a spare set , then you can always revert back to standard when it comes time to sell imo .
I had a stealth powerflow when i had my 172 . Couldn't have been happier . They guys at Burnley were spot on . They also tried on various back boxes until i picked the sound i liked :)
I got a dent out a panel years ago , same as the spoon method using a wooden decorators seam roller . You couldn't tell there had been a dent there :)
You just need to be able to get behind the panel to get the roller in ...
Alot of these so called leather cleaners / conditioners do fcuk all tbh . Like rich says , a wipe down with a moist microfibre cloth will clean just as just good as bought cleaner . Thats also what i was advised by a guy who did a repair on 172's seat . He also does full retrims and he said that...

Plus you get a free set of blue sidelight bulbs .
Cheapers ones can be had from ebay . Can't vouch for the quality of them tho' .
The internal diameter of the breather hose is 14 mm . Personally i'd just have bought the hillpower bend with the breather hose attachment .
A 15mm one here , but it should fit as the hose stretches ...
Your supposed to leave it for 30 mins , then reconnect the neg lead . Its " supposed " reset the ecu according to the guy at K+N . It worked on my car anyway .
I'll probably get slagged off to fcuk for my answer and people might say i'm talkin b****cks but i had exactly the same thing happen to me when i fitted a k+n apollo on my 182 . I didn't follow the instructions where it told me to disconnect the battery for 30 mins . In the end the car chugged...
Why ? Cos it doesn't cost £300 and have a Sony badge ? For the spec i think its good value for money , 5.1 sound and Firewire IEEE 1394 input , alot more expensive models don't have those features . Same price as alot of dvd players so kill 2 birds with 1 stone ;)
Anyway . I only posted it...
Saw this posted on another website . Anybody wanting a cheap dvd recorder this would be ideal .

AA have been fine for me on the 2 occasions i needed them , once to jump start me and once to tow me home .Arrived within 30 mins each time .Maybe i was just lucky??
Me ! The original contis i had on my 172 were fine in the wet , the toyos were crap . Whats the point in having a car with 170 odd bhp if you have to drive like an old gimmer just cos it's raining . If you want to be safe you might as well get the bus , lol .
Buy the toyos then and tip toe...
