Difference is that the OP already has a spare wheel. Taking it out and replacing it with a vastly inferior product doesn't make any sense at all.

Fuse blowing will be a wiring fault or an internal short in the ABS ECU. ABS rings will have nothing to do with it.

Not the answer you are looking for, but I really wouldn't bother. Will cost you more than it's worth to do it because you'd need uprated brakes etc aswell to do it properly.
