No Im not tho. I keep them in a box, damp. And clean. They work far better. If they are dry then all they do is push water about the car. Takes 5 minutes to get them to soak up anything when dry

I dont think any detergents are necessary. I dont let them dry either. Always keep them damp.

Mate have you actually driven the E93? I don't know how much you like cars but if you do you'll detest every back road moment in one. The chassis is possibly one of the most awful Ive ever driven. That said you are a BMW owner and already have a soft top. not forgetting the extra weight.
