He means before you start wiring anything, disconnect the negative (black) terminal from the battery. Then disconnect the red one and connect your power lead to the assembly before reconnecting it. Only put the negative back once you've finished the rest of your wiring.

1. You need to run a power cable from your battery to the boot.
2. You need to run a remote from the back or your head unit to the boot along with a set of rca leads. Probably best if you run them the opposite side of the car to the power but it hardly matters.
3. Fit amp to the back of the...
I got some cobra misanos in mine. Thought the standard seats were heavy when getting them out, but putting the new ones in they felt just as heavy lol.
I wasn't trying to save weight though, just trying to be comfortable!
Thats a generalisation if I ever saw one. Theres enough Imprezas out there, only a small percentage are owned by t***s.
I went from a 280bhp WRX to my 172 and I much prefer the 172. Its so much cheaper to run and apart from straightline speed it performs really well. The scoob was fun, no...

Thanks though

1. Pluging the i-pod in turns it on even though the...
Hi guys. Any ideas why my trip clock keeps resetting every few days. Never does it while you are using the car, its like as if its forgot the data or something. Normal mileage is fine, just all the other displays on the computer reset to zero.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Steve
Ali, I agree. Have always modified my cars but the clio has gotta stay standard. I did get tempted and get side repeaters and silvervisions but they definitely make it look better. Only other mod is the seats but I had to do that!

Hi there,
Well I'm absoutely knackered! Been cleaning the car all day! Perfect weather for it, lots of cloud cover, however that has made the pictures somewhat boring as my silver just looks grey and dull.
Started by washing with Megs gold class and wash mitt, dried, then clayed with the megs...
