Right guys. Nearly there. I got so fed up I just plugged the old seats back in and the light still didnt go out! Its the micro switch thats causing the problem. Probably cos some monkey has mucked around with all that wiring. I connected the switch and hey prestot the light goes out. Just gotta...
Ok, but putting the resistors in does not turn off the lights. So whats the next step? Are you saying this micro switch thing won't affect it at all?
So something is not right, but what to do I check first?
Thanks

Hi guys. Recently put some cobra misanos in my 172 and now its time to turn off the air bag lights. I followed the guide by edde but have run into problems. Firstly, I got 3 ohm resistors from maplins. The pretensioner plug is back the way it was standard as I've kept standard seat belts etc. I...
They are probably a bit lighter than the standard seats, but still bloody heavy!
Comfort wise they are a lot better. They are a bit tight for me, and it took me a while to get them in the perfect position but now I've got it pretty much sorted. They don't sit as low as I was hoping, but now I've...
I paid £500 for the seats and I'm 6'5. I've even had to remove the rear view mirror so that I don't have to duck down all the time to look left.
I'm pretty sure it will be my last mod as I'd rather save up for a better car than waste money on this one. I will be able to sell these seats again...
Had to get rid of the kiddy front seats as I was just too tall for them. Picked these bargain misanos up from Matty W. Well happy with them:
Car needs a bit of a clean!

Hi guys,Can anyone tell me what resistors I need to stop the air bag light coming on?Also any idea of what size bolts I need for Cobra Misanos? Or am I ok to just use the standard bolts? Thanks for any helpSteve
Do you know if other seat companies do a low sub frame that will fit more normal types of seats? I'd like a reclining seat. Has anyone butchered a sub frame to make it mount lower?
Its not my legs that are the problem, I have plenty of leg room. If you sit with your bum at the back of the seat and sit up straight you will know what I'm on about. Your head will be too high to see out the screen properly and the seat will end 3/4 of the way up your back! If you slouch so...
