My climate control panel has two slightly worn buttons,
Auto and Off i believe. How easy is it to change the buttons onto mine if i buy a cheap non working panel with good buttons?
Not bothered about removing the unit etc I can do that, just the buttons.
Oh and if anyone has any mint...
Lol he did fail twice though lol
I certainly searched it when I saw your picture. I had to, Lol. Man it got me I don't know why. Just gave me the giggles a bit
What exhaust you got? Mine used to do that, mind mines a ff182 not a trophy but on cooksports. Cheaper better way is to get an uprated exhaust mount a beefy one and try that first. Lifted mine by a good 4 inches
LOL wow. Thats just a whole new awesome. I love how you took the time to look for and embed that hahahaha.
I can see this thread having potential :smirk:
Couldn't agree more :) it really is a lovely atmosphere. Ever so welcoming. I really do love the forum it's ace. Everyone's so helpful. Makes me laugh really. Sterotypcially renault sports, especially 1*2's are driven by ignorant young w*****s but this forum has none of those really, makes me...
Being honest mate it is quite important. I was a bit skeptical about it at first. I used it on my car and just felt I was pissing away money really. Main areas are near the wheels and the bottom of the car that gets the real muck flying up at it.
I tried some on my dad's car though and got a...
It's an important step. I wish I'd got some pictures when I did my dad's car but it looked clean I mean really clean. We clayed it and it used a full 200g bar and 2 bottles of lube it was the most disgusting thing ever. There was so much coming off I couldn't believe it.
Boy did it visually...
It's all very daunting. Believe me. Don't let @Knuckles sit there all sweet and innocent he's a beast at detailing. Go on his name and check out some of his details. Thats how iv'e learnt. It's good to look at his step by step details and you can visually see by his progress pictures what the...
The first thing is a good website. Clean your car is a good one! I think Cliosport05 gets you a 5% discount aswell!
The advice here is for a BIG wash and what you'd typically do once a year or if it hasn't been kept up with.
If your car is particularly mucky you want to 'pre wash' first which...
Well I live literally out in the middle of nowhere, only have 1 neighbour, down mega country roads. Car doesnt struggle anywhere, doesnt ground out doesn't anything. Really massively improved the feedback and feel of the car and makes the car about as low as it should be from the factory. Just...
Sorry if I'm wrong, but I'd have said by popular opinion you'd probably be best with some cooksports if you want to 'uprate' your standard dampers rather than the eibachs. They give a more aggressive feel and lower the car by a realistic 25-30 mm which helps the car to look lower without causing...
Colour coding my car (slowly).
How the hell, and please be very detailed, do I remove the silver bit behind the plastic screen that encases your speedo and tach? Want to put a carbon one in rather than silver.
I've had a search and checked the guides but can't find much. Is it a hard job?
And...
I'm pretty sure i get it. Am i right in thinking that the cars main ouptut wires are pretty much fixed. But, even if someone had gone to the effort of swapping the cars red and yellow wires, that if i mimic this on the stereo side, it wont matter becasue im still going red to red yellow to...
Because I have the aftermarket connector here, I've tried tugging them and the wires wont come out lol. How the f**k do you get them out :(.
I'm such a failure.
Ah. So, if the car has a red wire coming out of the main loom, the corresponding end of the connector plugged into that main loom must also be red, i.e red to red?
RED from car to RED connector?
I just genuinely have never done anything to do with electrics before!
Why the hell would they...
@McGherkin these are pictures of the aftermarket connectors for the aftermarket head unit. The way the wires go into the bundles are the same though so will this help you tell me how to get the wires out? And confirm the adaptor similar to this, plugged in right now is the thing I should be...
So to recap (I'll do this tomorrow when i can see)
I should open the fuse panel - passenger side
look for ? (what symbol should i look for then? if the radio symbol isnt actually the radio permanent live thing lol)
When i locate the fuse what should i do? What amp will the fuse be?
If this...
Sorry. Right iv'e looked in the fuse box and i have f**k all clue what i'm looking at. On the back of the plate i cant see the symbol he's even on about, but all fuses look present. As well, the car radio was working perfectly fine before on the aftermarket so i presume the fuse is okay? Is the...
I am genuinely not taking the piss so don't be annoyed lol, i just plugged two big ends full of wires into two big connectors. They went into the radio :/ WHere are these wires. If theyre in the big bunches how the hell do they come out of the big connector?
Okay, where is this fuse then? under the bonnet or at the passenger side and what does it look like?
On a hunt to find an answer on here i kept seeing a lot of 'swap the red and yellow wire'. What does that mean?
Sorry the rest of your reply hadn't come up. What should i do then? If i unplug the radio theres like two things that go into a like unit that i had to swap from a different adpator when using the aftermarket unit. This allows connection into my standard radio. What do i swap or measure etc...
