Of course it doesn't matter, it's just a question but it's an interesting one.
I would but I genuinely respect my car too muxh to rag it down the strip :)
Right.
I aren't a 'street racer' and neither is my dad to start.
I have a 182, mild generic mods, exhuast induction lowered etc.
My dad has a mazda 231 rx8, lowered and exhaust.
Few quesitons. Which, in a straight line, down a drag strip is quicker? I can't find any evidence. There are...
Wheel spacers do the opposite mate. Having them kills the bearings so to speak not, not having them. Having said that I don't think they do really and 3 wheel bearings in the life of a car isn't all that bad really?
Wheel spacers are a coloured disk between the wheel and the hub, if you look...
You missed the straight through big bore 4" slash cut jap style exhaust. Looks awesome. Good for McDonald's exits and revving round the drive through!
Windows must be tinted. Mudflaps must be fitted for any spontaneous bouts of rallying. Upgrade the headlights to bright blue ones too lol...
The CYC one or clean your car one is really fantastic. Easily as good as the Autobrite one.

ENSURE you get the KARCHER fitment [emoji28]
And for snowfoam there's a few.
I really like cannot...
I couldn't comment on the head, but my local specialist, whom I thoroughly recommend (DDC Doncaster) charged about 6 or 7 hours labour I think for the belts, Dephaser and waterpump doing for me. The full job.
I can't comment on the head but I can't imagine it's going to take more two to three...
Good man. Trust me it's so worth it pal. Aswell, if you were to sell it I doubt anyone would buy it if it hasn't been done just for piece of mind mate.
The problem is the cars mate. A bit of drone is just down to the fact they are thin and very cheap! Sound deadening is poor too. That to me, is why I love mine though!
Pretty sure ktec do one on their website that's about 2 decibels louder than standard. Just have a look [emoji28]
Yeah. It's ever so important that these things are done properly and they are expensive! Having said that, any cars of a similar age and power all have similar maintenance costs.
I just had my belts etc done 6 months early.
I felt a bit nervous and thought it's silly not enjoying owning the car when you're worrying about it popping on you.
Replaced the belts, pulleys, dephaser, pump and tensioners etc. Feels s**t good now knowing it's all sorted and I've got the...
Nearly every mechanic, especially specialist charges £40 ph.
12 x 40 is £480 in labour mate.
IMHO you'd have to be very stupid to not change the dephaser whenver doing the cambelt ever, and to be fair waterpump too just for piece of mind. All in my opinion mind but come on, whats a £150...
s**t that's mental it looks so unassuming too
Ah wow it was lovely. Just saw the plate and had a sticker in the back I could tell immediately lol. My fiancee nearly had a heart attack I was like wow f**k it's paul she was like who's paul lol.
Yeah I mean I've researched and im thinking 15 mm on the front and 10 mm on the rear like @Sunglasses_Ron said to be fair. I just don't want to s**t out buying bolts etc but I must have locking wheel nuts lol.
Bit of a bump but thinking I should get some 15 mm for the front. What should I buy? Finding it confusing with the brands being all different prices. I want really good ones though maybe eibachs or something. This longer bolt business is confusing me too. Can't I use my normal bolts anymore...
They're great. Don't feel as raw or as quick either. Not saying they're not as quick but I would say to drive they feel less like an event and more comfortable. Easier to live with daily, far better for a long commute etc and driving daily and longer distances.
If it's a daily driver doing a...
Ah okay. So best to stay off the limiter then? I'm not up on it all really lol. I never take mine near it but then again mines NA and hasn't got forged internals lol. I just wondered whether the same applied where you still have to be a bit gentle with her but seems you do :)
