Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Could you not use a Cup or Ph1 box? I'd prefare slightly longer ratio's, the car has more than enough bhp/ton to deal with the longer ratio's.
GSXR750's are absolute animals. GF's Dads got one and he took me on it, instant acceleration its mind blowing.
Stay safe though mate, London can't be the safest place for biking.
Evo tested it at 6.6. However its irrelivant anyway because you have to dump the cluch etc to get those kind of times. 0-100 is a better test of a cars performance.

That box is short isnt it. The limiter gets a good work out in 1st doesn't it ;) I'm sure you'll get used to it soon though.
Nice to see it back on the road.
Looks absolutely stunning. That added touch from the dealer is certain to attract future custom. When buying a brand new car it is very special and nice to see a dealer adding to that.
Me. I wish :dapprove:
I'd have been very interested if it wasn't for my recent redundancy though.
I'm hoping to be sluming it with a ph1 172 in September though :)
There are much smaller cars with turbo's such as the R5GTT.
The problem is that turbo's get all of their torque and power suddenly which breaks the traction on the wheels. A smooth power curve is what you want.
If you count how many Clio's you see modded in this way its relitavely little. Most modded Clio's have 17's and lexus lights.
I think you should mod a car to how you like it tbh. If anybody else doesn't like it then thats there problem.
