Normally has to goto the dealer, even if you have the kit to program new keys as I have you still need the access code for the immobiliser system to code in the key. As to your old key you may be lucky as when I code in the keys it states keys that are not coded in will no longer be assigned...

yeah, maybe its only a square box situted next to the glove box, you will have to remove it completely, easy job to do. may be the solution.

The noise you are hearing is down to the automatic wiper system, the relays are situated inside the UCH, this is a sealed unit and there is nothing that can be done to improve it. If it really does your head in turn off auto wipers and use them manualy.

No they wont charge you and dont let them as its not your fault if its been set up incorrectly and it only takes 10 mins to do anyway. BUT if it is something else then they may charge but I dont think it will be. BTW Im a reno tech.

What the hells been up with it to have 3 UCHs, OK they do fail but not that often:o Tell em to give it to an RTE to check out if they have not done so before.

yep im 99% sure. Its not hard to incorrectly set up a UCH.

You got a pressure washer? If you have pressure wash the brakes front and rear as beleive it or not it usually sorts it out. The copper grease sits on the non-friction surfaces of the pads, to be honest it dont do much as its gone within a 1000 miles- washes off, and I have a feeling that...

I recon the UCH was configured incorrectly, plenty of setting for that system and wiper intermittant is one of the options. Bet its been set to Variable wiper intermittant without when it should be set to with. Take it back to the place that fitted it and get them to check the config.

UCH mate, no doubt about it, poxy things are crap why the hell cant car maker get rid of multiplex computers and go back to good old switches and relays without all the bollox:confused: On this subject I changed one today.

you also need a fallopian tube for the job aswell.
