About 20 minutes ago. Followed you out of the Zoo. HN05 PYW I think. Clio Sport and NW performance stickers on display. You turned rightt before Edinburgh Park. I was in the family Scenic.
I have been down to look at that one at EH in Middlesbrough just out of curiosity to see if anything was obviously wrong with it. The wheels are in poor cndition as was described on the Ebay ad which is something that the salesman said they would take care of before the vehicle left the garage...
Wild Horses wouldn't drag me away. Quite a few on 197.net up for it too. These roads will show you how much fun these cars are when given the right enviroment.
Went to have a look at this car today and despite the wheels, the car is mint. No dents or dings nor is there any signs of respraying. Interior is mint too. If the ebay price is true, then this guy must be desperate for the money or out of touch with car prices. However I never drove the car so...
I bought mine from that garage. Touch wood the cars been spot on and never missed a beat. It was in A1 condition with no dents and wheels were spotless when i bought it. Price was quite reasonable too. However makes me wonder what they got it for looking at the mark up on that one. I may have a...
I was just looking at the street view on the map that Glenn posted at point D. The Lion Inn pub is bigger than i remembered. I was concerned we may not all get parked but there looks ample space from what i can see. Great response lads, can't wait.
There is a place at East Boldon, forget the name. He did my Saab 1.8t a few years ago. It was very responsive afterwards, very pleased indeed. Will see if i can find the companys name. There can't be many in that area.
Nice to meet some of you lads even if it was brief. Enjoyed the drive back, great roads. Was going to take the Helmsley road back from Pickering but i was enjoying it that much i decided to go the long way back via York. Remember the North East section are having a similar drive out to Whitby on...
I hope we can get a few of us as this is a fantastic road, ideal for the type of cars we drive. I have mentioned the meet in the Yorkshire section in one thread and there is a few up for it on 197.net too. It would be nice to get a good few of us attending.
There is another road that runs parallel with this one which is just as good. It joins the same two roads as i mentioned earlier. It leaves the Pickering road at Kirkby Moorside and climbs very high up eventually ending its decent 15 miles West of Whitby. There is also a real food pub half way...
I drove an R26 a few weeks ago and loved it. Had the price been right i would have handed the keys of my 197 over to the salesman. The car felt rapid, much quicker than my 197. For me they are excellent value for money. The Yellow ones look superb.
Hi guys. Happy new year everyone. I was wondering if anyone fancied a meet on Feb 26th 2012. Hoping to meet at Stokesley football club around 10.30. A drive along the B1257 through Helmsley then joining the moors road across to Blakey ridge for a few photos and some food at the Lion Inn. This...
