Most trophys will have been looked after i would of thought because of their status. A 197 for that kind of money may not be one of the best examples around! As Daniel says, the 197 is a better car, handling and brakes are just amazing. However I would go for a trophy and wait a couple of years...

There is a 59 plate 200 on Auto Trader with 11K on the clock in LY. Sounds cheap at 8 and a half K too! Black wheels and Recaros, looks very nice. Does sound a bit cheap to me though!

We were in the Scenic. I would never take the Megane in case somebody dinged it while parked. I would have to sit in the car during the time we were there and let the mrs do her shopping alone just in case!

We were leaving the town and heading towards Oxford. Stood at traffic lights. You were travelling in the opposite direction heading into the Town Centre. Looked a very nice motor. In the Scenic so you wouldn't of noticed me.

Last minute sighting so not sure if it was a cup.

Not a fan of the standard 200 wheels. The 197 style wheels look much better especially in Black.

A regular meet every month is a good idea. Say first sunday in the new month? People who get paid weekly will have been paid 2 days before and people on monthly pay will have just been paid. So none of the sorry i'm broke excuses for not turning up.:D

Wasn't sure at first. Then i decided to have them done on my RB 197 cup. They made the car look much better. Not everyone will agree but i think they look good.

Can i pay on the day? Cannot see any reason why i may not be able to come but just in case something last minute occurs.
