Yep I did have a Lupo, sold it back in July, had a couple of cars since.
Yeah its standard bar the clear repeaters and some RS mats, I ve got a set of phase 2 rears ready to go on but its been too cold. Colourcoding is on the to-do list amongst other things, just had the gear box oil changed...
I think it looks alright tbh, I use it every day for work, its worth fek all, it goes like a train, does 33mpg round town and 40mpg on a run and I drive it as Renault intended.
Nothing is as much fun for the money.
After a month of neglect decided to give it a little tlc, photos are aren't great but there were loads of people going for walks today and its abit embarrassing to be taking photos of your clio!
I went to stanstead from Christchurch for my ph1 and thanks to my mates s**tty tomtom we went via central London LOL!
I always travel for the right one, the Zetec S was in Exeter, the Lupo Gti in Kent, just subtract the train fare out of the profit ;)
Theres no real pattern tbh.
On my 51 plate 1.2 I had no problems, just routine servicing, I had the waterpump changed when the belt was done as a precaution. That had 60k on it.
My brothers 51 1.2 on 53k had a couple of coil packs, an anti roll bar linkage and judging by the irrate answering...
^^^ Thats a good price for a flamer, I paid more than that for my iceburg.
Its had two cambelt changes and no offensive mods, I would say thats a safe bet.
Be sure to hpi it.
I would also get under the car and check for any oil leaks from around the gearbox area, and split cv boots etc. Check...
£2500 + for a decent one the rest are snotters. Trust me i ve looked.
A few of the arm chair experts will tell you you can get a ph2 for that, you can but you will be buying someone elses problems. £4k for a mint phase 2, a little more for a Cup.
Ours has a 200tdi conversion, goes very well on and off road, its going to have to go aswell though, fun as a toy but no good if you have to use it every day.
If it wasn't so much fun to drive I would of sacked it off long ago, as said built to a price, mines also starting to get to the age where i needs things.
