Fletch, that uphill hairpin coming out of Wherwell at the back of the pub is awesome. Remember my ESP always cutting in on my Focus and stopping me from enjoying it. lol.
Cheers for the comments about the name change but thought it suited me better.:D
What Sunday are you talking about. Remember this Sunday is Valentine's day. The hen pecked few of us may not be allowed out to play on that day.
Alos Chris may still be a little upset at the football results.
I could be enticed out but am on Call next weekend.
Okay here are my pics, I've learnt so much about how bad at photography I am and that DSLRs are more complicated than I thought they were meant to be. Never mind it's nice to not use automatic all the time and some of the results are far better than I ever imagined they could be.
Cliosport...
Talk about starting something early. Every year I say I'll stay with my mum in Cambridgeshire but end up driving early morning so I will just jump on board the convoy this year. That's assuming that the South Coast possee actually get their butts out of bed on time and I don't have to travel up...
He went there to get some money to pay for the lens I sold him. I followed him so was unable to play on the way home. Good to see you again Sam. I'll pm the details of the wheel refurbishers I was talking to your mate about.
Great pics Chris, glad you like the lens, Still sorting through the 200 pics I took, about half of them are in the bin. Had a great day and really enjoyed our own South Downs Run and the best Brie and Bacon sandwich I ever tasted. Been busy since and will probably add some pics later tonight.
Pistonheads are organising a meet at the Empress of Blandford Pub in Cadnam on the edge of the Forest. I could check this out but may be a better idea for a warmer evening thing.
Could look at bowling.
Christ I must be doin well on mine then. Nearly done 10k miles on them although they are near the end of their life expectancy. Some say I drive like an old man though. Grippy all year round but am now getting a lot of wheelspin due to them being worn. Must change them soon.
Mine were the original 182 cup packed test ones and were set up by K-Tec. Have to say that this is the best money I have spent on my car. Handling is so much sharper, the ride is a lot smoother and the missus doesn't feel every pot hole when out in the car. She now actually likes going out in...
Following on from Fletch's last thread here is this weeks re-enactment of that meet.
Sorry Fletch couldn't resist :rasp:
Took the opportunity to take some pics after my cleaning session this weekend, after uncharacteristically turning up at a meet with a filthy car last week.
All vehicles have to be taken to a scrapyard and have all of their fluids drained and made unusable. They could then be purchased by a museum or a collector as a static exhibit. It is illegal to return this vehicle to the road.
Was a great meet and nice to catch up with old faces and meet new ones. Nice to blow away the cobwebs and that lake from the bottom of my exhaust (sorry Shaun)
For the money I'd rather have a Scirocco and at least know I've got a car that will still be worth something in 3 years. For 5k more you could get a Rocco R
Lovely pics Shaun. I still love the stance you have on your bus and Sam's Candy looks gorgeous. Sam did you ever sort out what colour you want to go now?
